Welcome to Oceanview Marketing. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website, services, digital content, and participation in events hosted by Oceanview Marketing (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing this website, purchasing services, registering for an event, or engaging with our content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or participate in our services or events.

1. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use of the site.

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems

  • Use the website to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit website materials without written permission

  • Use our content or intellectual property in a misleading or competitive manner

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website at any time without notice.

3. Services & Educational Content

Oceanview Marketing provides strategic consulting, educational resources, workshops, courses, and related marketing services.

All information provided is for educational and informational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and effective strategies, we do not guarantee specific business, marketing, financial, or revenue outcomes.

Results vary based on numerous factors including implementation, market conditions, audience, budget, and business model.

4. Payments & Refunds

Payment terms for services, retainers, courses, workshops, or events will be outlined at the time of purchase or in a separate agreement.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • All payments are non-refundable

  • Payment plans must be completed according to the agreed schedule

  • Failure to make payments may result in suspension of access to services, content, or events

Oceanview Marketing reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.

CommCorp Express Grant Program Disclaimer

Certain Oceanview Marketing training programs may qualify for reimbursement through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program Express Grant (“CommCorp Express Grant Program”), which is administered by a third party and is entirely separate from Oceanview Marketing.

Oceanview Marketing does not guarantee reimbursement approval, reimbursement timing, or reimbursement amounts under the CommCorp Express Grant Program.

The client acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Eligibility determination and reimbursement approval are solely controlled by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or the applicable grant administrators

  • It is the sole responsibility of the client to properly apply for, submit, and complete all reimbursement documentation and requirements

  • Oceanview Marketing is not responsible for denied claims, delayed reimbursements, incomplete submissions, changes to grant guidelines, funding availability, or any decisions made by the grant administrators

Oceanview Marketing agrees to provide all required training-related documentation reasonably necessary for reimbursement submission within forty-eight (48) business hours following completion of the applicable training event or course.

No refunds, credits, or chargebacks will be issued by Oceanview Marketing based on a client’s failure to obtain reimbursement through the CommCorp Express Grant Program.

5. Event Participation

By registering for or attending an Oceanview Marketing event, workshop, networking experience, training, or live gathering (“Event”), you agree to the following:

Professional Conduct

We are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to remove any attendee from an Event without refund if behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

Assumption of Risk

You understand and acknowledge that participation in Events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Oceanview Marketing, its owners, contractors, employees, speakers, sponsors, venues, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your participation in any Event.

Networking & Third Parties

Oceanview Marketing may facilitate introductions, networking opportunities, or sponsor relationships during Events. We are not responsible for the actions, advice, products, services, or conduct of attendees, sponsors, vendors, speakers, or third parties.

Any business relationships or decisions made as a result of networking or participation are solely your responsibility.

Event Changes & Cancellations

We reserve the right to modify Event dates, locations, speakers, schedules, programming, or formats at any time.

Oceanview Marketing may cancel or postpone an Event due to unforeseen circumstances including weather, venue issues, illness, low enrollment, or force majeure events.

In the event of cancellation by Oceanview Marketing, attendees may receive either:

  • A credit toward a future event

  • Transfer to a rescheduled date

  • A refund at our discretion

Oceanview Marketing is not responsible for travel costs, lodging expenses, or other incidental expenses incurred by attendees.

6. Photography, Video & Media Release

By attending an Event or participating in Oceanview Marketing activities, you grant Oceanview Marketing permission to photograph, film, and record you for marketing, promotional, educational, and commercial purposes.

This may include use on:

  • Social media

  • Website materials

  • Advertising campaigns

  • Email marketing

  • Event recaps

  • Promotional videos

You waive any right to compensation, ownership, or approval of such materials.

If you prefer not to appear in photos or video, please notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the Event by emailing bethany@oceanview-marketing.com.

7. Third-Party Links & Resources

This website may contain links to third-party websites, software platforms, sponsors, or resources. Oceanview Marketing is not responsible for the content, policies, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites or services.

Accessing third-party websites is done at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer

This website, its content, services, and Events are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Business growth

  • Revenue increases

  • Lead generation

  • Marketing performance

  • Funding outcomes

  • Event networking results

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oceanview Marketing disclaims all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Oceanview Marketing for the applicable product, service, or Event.

  • Your use of the website

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Participation in Events

  • Misuse of our materials or services

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Massachusetts.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this website. Continued use of the website or participation in services or Events constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
